Acarbose ACAR
An approved diabetes medication that slows down how fast the body absorbs carbs after a meal, preventing blood sugar spikes. It's well studied and safe for that purpose, and researchers are also exploring whether it could help people live longer, though that benefit isn't proven in humans yet.
